This past weekend was the celebration of my son's Eagle Scout. Needless to say, that I didn't get much soap made, most of my time lately has been getting ready for the celebration.

Since I don't have much soap news, here is some information on Eagle Scouts
  • You must complete all of the Eagle Scout Requirements by the age of 18
  • 0.5 % of 18 year old boys are Eagle Scouts
  • There are 6 ranks a boy must complete before becoming the rank of Eagle Scout
  • 21 Merit badges need to be completed to become an Eagle Scout, of those 13 are specific Eagle Required Merit badges

Everyone should learn to live by the scout law:

On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law: to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.

A scout is: trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient thrifty, brave and reverent. These are the rules of scouting and of Sasi Soaps.

My name is Maria Saulsbury and I'm the founder and creater of Sasi Soaps. I love the process of taking oils and lye and creating soaps. But lately, I've been using the oils used in soaps for creating bug deterrents. I love having these natural products available for avoiding bugs.
